You've probably seen this Remington Model 700 chambered for 7MM Remington Magnum on ShootingUSA and Sighting In on The Outdoor Channel. Jim and John Scoutten use this as their "go-to" rifle for testing other products. Well, folks, starting next week, Jim and John Scoutten will be talking about their new Bump-Buster Hydraulic Recoil Reduction System by Speedbump Stockworks. John Scoutten will be demonstrating the Bump-Buster for nearly four minutes. Yup, and millions of people will be seeing it. Stay tuned, as they say... call me at 903-815-6535 or email me at Ken@SpeedbumpStockworks.com and we'll get all your "go-to" guns set up, too.
"I want everyone to know what a great job Ken Rucker at Speedbump Stockworks did on our gun. Not only is his craftsmanship excellent, the Bump-Buster works great. The gun was beautiful when we got it back. You won't find a finer man to do business with." DH
"I totally agree. I've had several guns worked on by Ken and he does an excellent job. He's one heck of a nice guy as well. I highly recommend Ken at Speedbump Stockworks." JKen Rucker 903-815-6535
My young friend Ty Weaver is a shooter and a writer. He likes to share his 35 Whelen rifle, equipped with a Bump-Buster, with other young shooters on safari in Africa. This is Ryan and the Red Hartebeest he shot with Ty's rifle. Here's what Ty says in an article he wrote in the current issue of The Lakecaster from Lake Sam Rayburn:
And now for you Texas Longhorn fans, here's an orange and white Bump-Buster and adjustable comb on a left hand Browning 625.
Once upon a time I thought I'd branch out into custom stockmaking, but I'm 'WAY too busy working on your gunstocks to make any of my own... Here's a link to the wood carving machine I have for sale at my shop: http://www.terrco.com/kstar.php The product manual and a video are available on this link, so be patient and let it load on your screen. Mine is mounted on a heavy industrial-grade shop table. $3495 or so, depending on who hauls it.
In case you missed Alec's post on the shotgunworld forum, here's a repeat performance:"Ken, I just returned from the range. My son and I shot four rounds of skeet. My 3200 with the Bump-Buster and adjustable comb worked great. The O/U felt more like a semi auto and though I'm still adjusting the fit I broke more birds then my average despite the windy conditions here in Wichita Falls. Thanks for the excellent work." LV

ZACH"I have been shooting the Bumpbuster for 8 months now and in my opinion, the Bumpbuster is the better one. I like the simplicity and the way it adjusts. Ken Rucker is very helpful and knowledgable. I recommend him for this type of stock work." Jim
"Ken, I can't say enough about the way your new system cuts any recoil that I was experiencing. After a full day of shooting boomers I realized that the recoil I had worried about was gone. I'm proud to show it to all the people I meet on the road and will recommend it highly to anyone. Thanks also for your quality installation, it looks like an integral part of my K-80. You have given me another thing not to think about...RECOIL!!!" MR
What people are saying about me:
